The New Year so far.

I've finally got a few pictures up from the holidays. There were actually quite a few more, but an alarming amount of them were of cats (most of which I omitted).
So the New Year is getting off to a quiet yet productive start. My classes start on February 6th (I'm studying Business Administration for those that have not yet heard) and I have a cushy reception job that was supposed to last for one week, but I'm now signed up for my 6th. I have, on the other hand, gotten a tremendous amount of reading done (at work) to my own surprise and delight. Karriem got me a couple books for Christmas (The Ballad of the Wiskey Robber and Nickled and Dimed), both of which I found fascinating and I'm just about done with Ahab's Wife by Sena Jeter Naslund, which I highly recommend (all 666 pages of it!).
I'm headed to Ohio this weekend with Laura (surely there will be pictures from that without cats) and my friend Chaz is coming to visit from Spokane, Washington.
Looks like we're off to a good start.
