Weather forecast

So all week it's supposed to be in the 50's and 60's (it's January in case you've been in hybernation). My personal theory? Minions of hell are breaking through the earth's crust, probably somewhere on the 16th block of Pennsylvania avenue.

Post-Holiday Fun

The holidays were a blast this year! I showed enough restraint to not go broke while still getting some nice presents for some great people. I tried not to overdue things (though I did spend much of my Christmas weekend sleeping because I was stupid tired by Friday night) and with the exception of the two kitchen fires I set, everything seemed to go according to plan (or at least panned out in the end).

So to finish things off, Karriem took me to see The Roots at the 9:30 Club last Monday. The show was awsome (they're great preformers as well as fantastic musicians) plus we ran into Missy (who I used to work with at Dupont Circle).

Now I finally have a long weekend and we're heading up to Annapolis for New Years Eve! Looks like it's going to be a great year.

Spam comments suck

Comment spammers are apparently trying to cash in on this once a year opportunity when people try to better themselves for the new year by growing larger breasts and/or penises, loosing weight, and gambling more. I erased a record 33 spam comments off a single entry on this webpage just now.

Happy Holidays!

Horray for the holidays! I've never actually had a really nice Christmas tree before so I was estatic when Karriem and I went ornament shopping last week. What came about was delightful, fun, and goofy... everything the holidays should be. Enjoy....
